Akinori started his career with Shibusawa & Company (SAC), a cross-border advisory firm. In 2009 he established AJIA as a spin-off of SAC, to help Japanese clients access India with market research, partner selection, expansion capital and post-investment monitoring. In 2012 he further established Africa Business Partners, to assist Japanese clients with interest in African markets. He currently serves as the representative director of AJIA and executive director of Africa Business Partners.
